purple haze, jesus saves



I recently got back from a trip to Grand Cayman, which is a British commonwealth. Hurricane Ivan ripped through Grand Cayman over two years ago, and the island is still pretty destroyed. This is only true because Caymanians don't allow U.S. companies to come in and help, they want to do it themselves. There is an extreme sense of closeness and pride on the island. If you were to just stay around the hotel areas where all the tourists stay, then you would only see alittle damage, like the way the tress were all bent the direction of the hurricane (yea, that was pretty weird). To truely see the damage, you had to go where the Caymanians lived, in their little home towns.
